The British Council is the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities. We create friendly knowledge and understanding between the people of the UK and other 100 countries across the world. Our activity started in Spain in 1940 and has since undertaken a major programme of activities in the fields of arts and culture, English language, education and civil society. Segovia is a teaching and exams centre. Early Years, Primary and Upper Secondary students are taught at our Main Centre within a large school with whom we have had a partnership agreement for many years and where we have seven fully equipped classrooms and a library with a computer space. We also teach students both from the school and from other schools at lunchtimes from Monday to Friday and in the afternoons from Monday to Thursday.
